Hey gorgeous! Halloween is just around the corner and if you still haven’t planned an outfit, or want to make a creative Halloween costume at home, here’s an idea for you! If you adore fashion, then who better to don a costume of than the girl who’s been a fashion icon for 60 years, never ages and is ever-so-beautiful. And not just that, she also proves that being fashionable doesn’t mean being shallow or dumb! She is educated and has so many professions including an astronaut and a doctor! Yes, I’m talking about Barbie!!
And if you, like me, don’t want to wear an all-pink outfit, I’ve come up with this ‘Rockstar Barbie‘ costume that you can build at home, or certainly if you want to go high-street shopping, then you can build it that way too!
And this isn’t just a creative Halloween costume idea! You can even modify this Barbie outfit for a casual, street style look!
Advert:
For her outfit, I chose a black leather mini skirt with a pink knot top. You can also add a black leather zipper jacket for that added ‘rockstar’ touch! I’ve chosen all pink accessories including hoop earrings, glossy pink pumps, fuchsia clutch and of course, a pink and black guitar!
You may also need: a blonde wig and fake eyelashes! The makeup is what makes Barbie Barbie. So make sure to use lots of blush, pink eyeshadow and a bright pink lipstick with lipgloss. Add some highlighter because Barbie’s skin is youthful and well-kept! Maybe add some glitter on the eyes, too. Here’s my favorite Barbie makeup tutorial on YouTube:
