The runway of Coach Spring Summer 2018 was all darkly shimmery and shiny. It had a garage themed set up with a sequin-covered car and dim lights – the perfect outside-the-nightclub feel! The collection was youthful, very casual and had both men’s and womens wear. The party themed collection had lots of metallics, black and neutral shades like browns and nudes. The show started with a look that had a suede jacket with leather patchwork worn over a satin lace dress. And gradually moved onto slip dresses with sheer details, fur and metallic jackets.
Menswear had lots of layering with leather, suede, denim and satin jackets. In a few looks, shorts were seen – the college kid vibe. Casual printed shirts and graphic print tee shirts gave a relaxed look. Accessories included duffle bags, sling bags, rectangular gradient sunglasses, long necklaces, bracelets and rings. My favorite look from menswear was this sheer tee shirt worn over a graphic print one – easy and casual!
Womenswear had sequined skirts, slit dresses with sheer tops, metallic jackets, sweaters and shorts. High waist patchwork jeans looked retro and chic!
Two tone leather jackets with zipper details are an ideal outfit for night outs, right?! Accessories included metallic shoes, box bags, bracelets and chain necklaces. The makeup was natural with a dewy look and nude lips. Center parted natural wavy hair gave a relaxed look.
Also, satin trousers and the very evident looking zips on the trousers and jeans were the highlights of the collection.
Overall, easily wearable, cool collection for the young folks and a feast for eyes to watch it on the metallic, dimly-lit runway!
