The vacay season is over but Chanel Spring Summer 2019 gave the viewers’ summertime goals! The color palette of the collection was mesmerizing and it truly served the beach theme. From soft summer tones like lemon yellow, coral, aqua blue to whites and blacks, the colors were perfect for summers!

Signature tweed jackets paired with biker shorts showed the revival of the early 90s fashion. Many oversized dresses were seen. Oversized outfits are gonna be on trend radar in 2019, so stack them up. Oversized tops paired with tweed skirts, just oversized jackets were worn and the look was completed with logo accessories. A few denim looks were also seen.

We also saw beach cover-ups and straw hats without which a beach vacation is incomplete. Printed swimsuits with bold prints were also spotted. Shoes were kicked off and models walked barefoot with shoes in their hands or shoes clipped onto their bags! Beach-mood, right?!

Not just one, but we saw models wearing two crossbody handbags. These days carrying just a single bag has become a big task and here Karl Lagerfeld opts for two bags. Anyways we’re yet to see if this really works and whether if it can be pulled off in daily life or just confined to runways! Handbags need to evolve already! Body chains, logo earrings, long multichain necklaces and bracelets uplifted the overall looks.

Like in every collection, Karl Lagerfeld has played around with tweed in Chanel Spring Summer 2019 collection and gave us innovative ideas to pair them with. Overall, quite a wearable collection with an impressive backdrop! It’s one to remember.
