Even fashionista, Olivia Palermo had opted for a similar shorts gown for her wedding back in 2014.
Also, in 2017 Poland designer, Sylwia Kopczynska showcased a similar style shorts gown in her bridal collection at White Gallery, London. And with this trend picking up on Instagram now, it’s gonna get only bigger in the future.

You can either opt for just a shorts gown or go for a shorts dress. Go for pastel colors or metallics to stand out! Keep the makeup minimal by keeping it all natural. Or go for a sexy metallic smokey eye to match the dress and pair it with a nude lip. Side swept hair with loose curls or a messy bun looks perfect with a shorts gown. You can also opt for shorts with pockets to make a statement!
You can even surprise the guests by wearing a satin skirt over your shorts gown. And later changing only to shorts gown! Or go for detachable overskirt so you can remove it at the afterparty!
