Hi fellow blinks! As we wait for Blackpink’s new music to release, let’s take a glimpse at some of their iconic looks to recreate. Ever since the K-pop idols embarked on their musical journey in 2016, we knew they were going to cause a sensation with their melodious music, nicely timed dance and their true friendship.

But can we really talk about them without mentioning their fashion? Just like any other artist, they know the importance of marrying the world of music and fashion, and that exactly is what caught my attention as a fashion enthusiast. Over the years, Blackpink has rightfully become a highly anticipated band at every fashion week. But how about their personal style?

Personal Style

Blackpink’s street style is remarkably unique and versatile. The members of the quartet band have distinguished style, however comfort is the hallmark of all their wardrobes. While Rosé loves softer and feminine ensembles, Lisa prefers embracing her edgier side.

Lisa’s ability to try bold colors, patterns and take risk while still looking graceful is why she is my favorite when it comes to the fashion world. Not to exaggerate but she shook me with her versatile style in her long-awaited solo album ‘LaLisa”. Jennie is generally dressed classy and preppy, however she’s always open to the idea of exploring new and dramatic styles.

Jisoo’s style is all about comfort and confidence. The girls also consistently mix modern silhouettes with classy and vintage pieces. Their inclination and fondness towards various aesthetics is further demonstrated by the brands they serve as muse and ambassadors.

Now, let’s revisit and decode some of Blackpink’s street style looks, shall we?

15 Ultimate Blackpink’s Street Style Outfits

1. A Monochromatic Core

Lisa is generally known for her quirky street style, but this one time she decided to opt for a fuss free, fail proof attire as was seen wearing a black button up paired with matching pants. To spice the whole look up, she wore a soaring red colored scarf around her neck and muted pink colored hair. She also slipped on red loafers, pearl necklace and a subtle makeup look. This look, personally, is quite simple to recreate and is just perfect for a visit to café or going to college, isn’t it?

2. A Bow Affair

For the Paris fashion week as ambassador for Chanel in 2019, Jennie, Blackpink’s lead rapper and vocalist, looked gorgeous in street style as she played around with proportions. She was seen wearing a strappy, sky blue colored bow top paired with blue washed straight legged denim. To add the street punch, she wore a purple cardigan, white open toe heels and a purple mini bags. This effortlessly chic and comfortable ‘fit calls for a concert, doesn’t it? It could also be a first date outfit!

3. Dress Up Darlin’

With cottage-core aesthetic taking over the internet, can the fashion icon herself shy away from trying it? Of course not! Lisa looked all classy and elegant at what seemed to be a picnic, in a whimsical cottage-core dress with intricate floral motifs all over it. The big puffy sleeves and the fit makes this dress beyond perfection. This is one of Blackpink’s street style looks that’s perhaps a perfect balance between dress up and dress down, what say?

4. 50 Shades of Beige

Ever since the revival of beige in the mainstream media, there seems to be no sign of its disappearance. Unsurprisingly, Rosé also seems to be enjoying this trend. She was spotted looking uber cool in a light beige top and well-tailored tan colored pants. She also braided her brown hair and wore a minimal, delicate bracelet and necklace. I certainly will be recreating this look for a brunch!

5. Back to Basics

At some point every season, we’ve all sneaked in a classic garment into our wardrobe. This season it is the versatile white shirt that has been a part of fashion history since forever. Take a cue from Rosé as she manages to looks stunning in a basic white tee paired with relaxed straight legged black pant and a matching double breasted long jacket. This is one of the most basic Blackpink’s street style looks and we’re here for it.

Not to forget, she braided her hair and chose minimal jewelry. The ensemble comes across as fashion-forward because of multi layering, but still doesn’t look too over-the-top. I’m thinking grocery shopping or a sleepover in this outfit.

6. Layer Up

As expected from her, she does not seem to refrain herself from cultivating and expressing her creativity in terms of fashion. She styled a basic sweater vest in off-white over a brown plaid shirt and chose a denim mini skirt for the bottom. She rounded it off with an over-sized blazer, a bucket hat, white sneakers and a cute scrunchie on her wrist. It is safe to say Blackpink’s rapper took the layer game and her street style up a notch.

7. Classy in Black

Jennie indeed looked like an absolute goddess in Chanel’s navy blue mini dress. The intricate designs in the LBD and the perfect placements and details of the buttons makes me go wow! She opted for black smokey eyes, pink glossy lips and a half up-half down hairdo. This is one of the chicest Blackpink’s street style hairdos.

She played safe with her accessories and opted for a chunky gold neckpiece. However, I personally think she should’ve skipped the neckpiece. So ladies, the next time you are confused about what to wear for a b’day, look for inspo here!

Jennie certainly does not believe in sacrificing style for comfort. Whether you are having a lazy day alone at home or are spending time with your dear ones, this outfit is simply goals! She picked a white oversized sweatshirt and paired it with black pants. For accessories, she stacked multiple necklaces along with a pair of white sneakers and preferred no makeup and a half up bun to complete the look. The superstar is teaching us how to not look sloppy when at home and we’re here for it.

Blackpink’s street style gets sexy with this look. We’ve already established that her style is fancy yet comfortable and she’s proving just that. She went in with a sophisticated and sexy crumpled textured bralette along with a matching open cardigan. She toned the look down by pairing it with distressed black jeans and nude pointy heels.

Can we also take a moment to appreciate the pink manicure? She did not hold herself back with accessories as she wore butterfly earrings, multi-layered neckpieces, bracelets, rings and topped it off with a white handbag and simple makeup look. Excellent fit for a gossip session or a day out with friends!

There’s something warm and fuzzy about floral dresses. This summer, Rosé was spotted wearing a slim fitting silhouette through the bodice and a flowy relaxed skirt with a thigh high slit. 11. Suit Up

Nothing screams unisex and androgyny better than a pantsuit, and Blackpink’s street style is very multi-dimensional. Relaxed grey pants, blue shirt, navy blue tie topped with grey fitted blazer by Dior, Jisoo looked powerful and ready to ace a presentation at work. To add the punch of street style, the Blackpink star wore Dior monogrammed bandanna to keep the hair off her face and opted for a grey handbag with gold details. Stunning, isn’t she?

12. The Sleeve Drama for a Date

A look that received the most praises from the public has to be this one. Jisoo set a fancy tone as she donned a black mini dress with off shoulders characterized by fabric manipulation. The off sleeves beautifully accentuated her collarbones. She also wore duo-toned nails matching the outfit, sleek middle partitioned straight hair and accessorized with big old classic gold hoops. She went in with a soft and sultry makeup and looked exquisite. Without a second thought, this hands down has to be my favorite look of them all!!

13. All Shimmer

Lisa looked nothing less than a disco ball when she wore a quintessential night out outfit in the form of a fun silver sequin fringe crop top along with glittery black shorts. She added a statement choker with a prominent blueish-green stone, gold hoops, sharp winged liner and a bold red lip. This is what we really love about Blackpink’s street style – it’s unabashedly sexy, yet with an effortless vibe. The top brings attention to her toned arms and collar bone. She had some front fringe and the rest of the hair was tied into a half up ponytail making it look effortless and we love it!

14. Go Plaid or Go Home

On popular demand by the blinks, Lisa posted pictures of her in a conventional checkered pattern dress with a dramatic, large collar that had subtle ruffles at the edge and prominent rhinestone buttons. Additionally,  she choose the ‘no makeup’ makeup look and as for the hair, she let her front fringes out and used two ribbon clips to keep the hair away. She finished it off with a simple stud and a delicate gold bracelet.

T-shirt and denim are a combo that Jisoo often flaunts yet she gracefully manages to look unique every time.
