While all the ingredients and methods we mentioned here are natural, it’s still possible for them to cause breakouts, rashes or allergies, depending on what your skin reacts to.
So please remember that everything I wrote here may not suit every skin type. Before you try out these natural face beauty tips, please consult with your dermatologist, or do a back-of-palm skin patch test before using them on your face, especially if you have sensitive skin.

Daily Beauty Routine
There are few things in our beauty routine that never change, that includes proper and daily skincare. Our skin requires a routine care and this may seem like boring for some but the results can be young-looking, wrinkle-less skin at any age.
For glowing skin, you have to cleanse your face on a daily basis. Naturally, cleansing can be done with tomato puree or milk. Apply on your face all over and keep it for 5-10 mins and then wash it with the normal water. It removes all the dirt from the pores and keeps your skin fresh.
After cleansing, the next step is to moisturize your skin. To moisturize your skin you can either use almond, olive or coconut oil (for dry skin or normal skin) and rose water for toning.
Those who have oily skin can use some of these natural tips:
Avocados: Take the pulp, make a paste of it and apply on your face. Leave it on for 5 minutes and then wash it with normal water.
Cucumber slices: Just rub them on your face for 2-3 minutes to cleanse the oil naturally. Wash off with plain water.
Buttermilk: Apply all over your face and leave it to dry, then wash it with normal water (works for mixed to oily skin).
Massage & Scrubbing – Weekly Routine
Massaging and scrubbing your face is the best way to get rid of all the dirt, excess oils and dead cells that accumulate on your skin. And this helps your skin look fresh and rejuvenated. Scrubbing can be done weekly or at least twice a week. Followed by massaging your face gently with natural homemade scrubs.
This helps to improve the blood circulation on your face. And that gives a healthy and natural glow.
Here is a natural way to scrub your face.
Take 1-2 strawberries, 2 pieces of kiwis or 2 cubes of watermelons. Mash any single fruit and apply on your face. Then massage or scrub it slowly for at least 3-5 minutes in circular motions. Then wash it thoroughly with normal or cold water. You can make use of different fruits during different seasons, and see what suits you best! Follow with a natural face mask.
Face masks helps to rejuvenate the skin by providing nutrients to the top most layer, removing dead skin cells and resulting in soften skin. These should be applied weekly if your skin gets exposed to dust, sun or pollution a lot. If not, use them monthly or as required.
1. Papaya & Honey Facemask
This is one of my most often used face masks. Take two pieces of papaya (peeled) and mash them to make a paste. Apply evenly on your face and leave it for half an hour and then wash it with cold water. Papaya is just not a fruit but one of the best natural remedies for good health and glowing younger looking skin.
Also, it helps in reducing pimples and scars. You can also add honey (optional) to the mixture which helps massage and makes your skin glow.
2. Banana Face Mask
Everyone knows bananas are a great source of nutrition. But did you know that applying bananas to your face has a lot of benefits? Take a few slices of banana, 1 tsp of honey (optional) in a bowl mash them nicely. Apply on your face massage it gently all over the face for at least 5 minutes. Then wash it off with normal water. For an instant glow on your face, this facemask is a great idea to try!
3. Carrot Face Mask
Make a paste using 1 carrot (steamed) by mixing it with milk or honey and apply on your face and neck evenly. Let it dry for 15-20 minutes and then wash it with cold water. Carrots work really well for your skin as they have many vitamins and minerals, which give instant shine and younger-looking skin.
4. Multani Mitti
Multani mitti or fuller’s earth is best used to get rid of all dead skin cells on your face. It also helps to remove oil from your skin slowly (if its oily). Take some pieces of multani mitti and soak in the rose water or milk for at least half an hour.
Then mix it nicely with the brush and see there are no lumps in it. Apply evenly on your face and neck area, leave it till it dries. Then wash it off thoroughly with normal or cold water. This is the best beauty ingredient has been used by generations of Indian women!
