Balmain Spring Summer 2018 fashion show happened in Paris with a Parisian setup. The architecture, clocks and sculptures gave the feel of the city. Victoria Secret’s model, Natalia Vodianova opened the show. She wore a black patent leather jumpsuit with chain links paired with a shoulder cut-out button up shirt.

Later, the show moved on to sheer coats, skirts and tops. Ruffles were also prominent in the collection – from sleeves to hemlines of the skirts, they looked alluring. The color palette included black and white as the major colors. We also saw electric blue and bright red in a few looks.

The highlights of the collection were the transparent boots that made a real statement in the runway! Fringes, shoulder pads, graphic art and leather were the highlights of the collection. Unlike last season’s Fall Winter 2017-18 RTW collection that was wild, this season, Balmain delivers chic yet edgy collection!
