Fashion designer Anushree Reddy got inspired from Nizam princess ‘Niloufer’ of Hyderabad and came up with a collection named after her muse. The designer showcased classy silhouettes with soft luxurious fabrics with hand woven silk, organza, mulmul for the princess look. We saw detailing in the form of scallops, frills, ruffles, layering for voluminous as well as clean silhouettes. The color palette included shades of peachy pink with burnt orange, sunset yellow, ink blue, ivory and gold along with soft pastels.
Nargis Fakhri walked for Anushree Reddy with a gorgeous pale green, layered organza lehenga worn with an off-the-shoulder yellow embroidered cropped top. Mens wear included bundhgala sherwani paired with embroidered loose pants and jutis. Great idea to wear to Indian weddings.
The show also brought together the collection by SVA by Sonam and Paras Modi titled ‘Naseem Bagh’, the collection was inspired by ‘Chinar’ leaves. The collection was all about the luxurious velvet and silks in which the Chinar leaves were translated into prints and embroidery to add an extra elegance to the garments. It’s ideal for the winter weddings, the collection offered draped saris, lehengas, jackets and more. The color palette included bold hues ranging from black and gold to tangerine, crimson and cobalt blue.
Bollywood actress Vani Kapoor was the showstopper for SVA by Sonam and Paras Modi, dressed in an amazing scarlet lehenga accessorized with a metallic belt.
