AC.House Global Fashion Collective Spring Summer 2020 Collection

Showcased as a part of the second presentation by Global Fashion Collective (GFC), this collection was titled ‘Rock Dreamer’. All black with mixed retro inspirations, the collection was inspired by rock and roll.

Using luxurious fabrics and drawing inspiration from iconic styles over different periods, this show seemed like an ode to edgy fashion itself. AC.House stands for Art & Culture house with China/Australia based designer Lily Liu at the helm.

The fashion brand strives to create simple yet powerful designs, which have a focus on elegance. For this collection, the designer drew inspiration from the famous mythical chinese bird, ‘Luan Phoenix’.

With interesting details and sensuous draping, this fashion house is definitely on our watch-list. With all evening wear, the silhouettes included midi-dresses, gowns, trousers, suits and short-sets.

Details like vintage style sleeves, sheer ruffles, ruffs and decorative hardware/embellishments were the highlight of the collection. Accessories included fascinators, statement necklaces, novelty evening bags and hats.

One of the looks had elongated mutton-leg sleeves that ended with a bell (above-left). Another dress had a high slit that was embellished with a network of chains falling on the leg (below). Another look had a bustier with feathers over the cups and Goth-style black chains decorating the decolletage (top).
