Dear Sayali,

There are many color options for black hair. Deep caramel is my favorite for black hair right now. Warm honey, caramel, teal, deep grape or sangria (burgundy) and dark chocolate are all great ideas for 2016. Check out all the latest ombre trends in our article:

If you have medium or long hair, I recommend you go for ombre+highlights, which looks more natural. Grown-out ombre look is very in right now, so try the highlights especially on the lengths of your hair.

For short hair, get the highlights only on the bottom couple of inches of your hair, or get a sombre (subtle ombre) which starts at about half or three-quarters of your hair length from the top.

Get a couple of face-framing pieces that are colored half-way or so. Here’s what I have right now!
