Valentino Fall Winter 2017 Ready-to-Wear collection at Paris Fashion week was vibrant and colorful. Graphic prints, pleats, beautiful prints and slit coats were the highlights of the collection. The color palette included classics like black and white, pastels like pink and blue bright colors like yellow and red and even metallics were seen in a few looks.
Most of the dresses had flowy, dynamic silhouettes. Different fabrics like velvet, silk and lace were seen. Pleated dresses, maxi dresses and a long black leather dress with pleats was notable! Most of the looks were high neck and had full sleeves. The graphic printed dresses and coats were eye catching. They had hand motifs and numbers on them.
Slit coats , some with two slits in the front were unmissable.
A very few looks were in solid colors. An alluring black sheer dress with floral sequin work and a plain off-white dress with floral appliqué were seen.
Accessories included necklaces, earrings, finger rings, bracelets and bags. Pretty red-beaded with copper pendant necklaces was paired with most of the looks. Multiple finger rings were worn on one hand (mostly the left one)!
Boots in black, red, brown and in pastels were seen. The makeup was bold with well-defined eyes and dark lips for a few of the looks. Some looks were paired with subtle and natural makeup.
My favorite looks from the show were this beautiful floral printed gown and a black and white geometric printed gown with long pink stripes.
